Elevation Polish - Echinops
is pretty darn tootin delicious.
a-England - Rose Bower
if it had a label, i would label this as a Top 5 Most Sexy Polish ever. gah! gorgeous.
Femme Fatale - Apothecary
i don’t know if you’re seeing what i’m seeing, but *HEAVY BREATHING*
Femme Fatale - Sparkleshell
i actually didn’t think i’d like this as much as i do! in fact, I ADORE this polish. i have a full sized one already on its way……..
this polish is being discontinued so please do make sure you grab one because it is just ADORBS.
Femme Fatale - Abracadaver
not too sure if i like this on me! :O pictured three thin coats.
Femme Fatale - Cloudburst
three coats to perfection! this shade is being discontinued, so please do make sure to try and grab it while you still can! it’s amazing. ♥
you know that feeling when you’re just like ‘meh’ about the polish in the bottle but when you put it on you’re suddenly like ‘mehYEEEEESSSSSSSSSS’? that happened here.
Femme Fatale - Winter Hyacinth
just a quick comparison between these two because when I saw them separately I thought they could be dupes! But I have been proven wronggggggg :D
Deborah Lippmann - Don’t Tell Mama
Illamasqua - Viridian
piCture pOlish - Orbit and China Glaze - Skyscraper
they are very very verysimilar indeed these two. Orbit is just slightly more dense and is tinted with its base colour more so than Skyscraper, so depending on which you prefer, you probably won’t need both! :)
Etude House - PWH901
Ulta - Pinata-Yada-Yada
Milani - Gems
while they all have roughly the same colour palette, Etude House’s PWH901 is much brighter, and has less of the silver hexagonal glitters. Milani’s Gems and Ulta’s Pinata-Yada-Yada are practically dupes, except that Gems has more coverage whereas Pinata-Yada-Yada is more sparse.
1 coat of each over black!
another comparison post! today’s main contenders areee:
Butter London - Knackered
OPI - Not Like the Movies
Catrice - Iron Mermaiden
and OPI - Peace, Love, and OPI!
two coats over black for all.
as you can see, while they all have the same shifts (except for OPI - Peace, Love and OPI, which has a darker shift that also includes bronze/gold), they have different end-finishes.
Butter London’s Knackered has holographic glitter and is slightly more pigmented than OPI’s Not Like the Movies, which is more gentle in comparison especially with its silver microglitters. Catrice’s Iron Mermaiden is bare of any such glitters and is a straight duochrome. OPI - Peace, Love and OPI has the most colour shifts, and while it is not a main contender, I thought it’d be interesting to toss him into the comparison as well :)
between our three contenders! China Glaze - Atlantis, Emily de Molly - Folklore, and Color Club - Holiday Splendor
as you can see, Atlantis and Holiday Splendor have the same time of finish and style, just different shades. Atlantis and Folklore however are neaaarly the same shade, but their glitter coverage is very different. While Atlantis is more spread out and ‘jelly-ish’, Folklore is packed with the microglitter, without a need for a base colour in its formula.
GOSH - Holographic
omgomgomgomg i was so excited when i was able to snag this (the original gosh holographic! :D :D) off a destash! it has a sliightly faulty brush, but it’s still manageable and i wouldn’t trade this for anything else oh gosh GOSH. hehhee. also i couldn’t resist—i had to take photos with my holographic satchel bag. eheh!
Hi. This is My Ten Friends - Dirtball. It is gorgeous.
That is all.
FORGOT TO POST EARLIER (as usual) but i decided to matte my right hand of Indigo Bananas’s A Star to Sail by! isn’t it gooorgeoussssssssssss? :D :D :D
Indigo Bananas - A Star To Sail By with butter LONDON - Matte Finish over it!
